Our client tried to let the insurance company do the right thing, and when they wouldn’t, he called us. In his words:

“I was blindsided – they ran a stop sign. Totaled my vehicle, caused severe injuries to my neck and ended up losing the use of my right arm and my right leg, I was walking with a cane. Right away, when I met with Sam first, me and my wife came in together and she put us at ease, that anxiety at ease at that point.”

Why He Recommends Our Firm

“I recommended them straight. First of all, because of the honesty and plain speak as opposed to, you know, being double-timed, blowing smoke, saying that, you know, “we’re gonna make you rich”. I think the biggest thing is just the honesty and responsiveness. If I had a question, I picked up the phone and it was immediately addressed. Aaron in particular was extremely skilled in how he addressed the opposing attorney and putting the case together in such a way. When we went to arbitration, not arbitration, mediation, excuse me, and I saw the book, he put together a case book, the man did his homework. And so that thoroughness and precision, it just it was just a clean process for me. When in the mediation, Aaron was pretty straightforward to say, look, I don’t expect us to walk out of here with a deal, but we can at least get a feel for where they are, and I think he had her mind scared because mediator came in with more numbers and we came up with the final number. So I think one thing about this, it was different than what I would expect from a law firm is just how open, up front this was, and there was a chance, had we gone to trial, or maybe pushed for more, we could have gotten it.

That said, there was as much or even a slightly larger chance that we wouldn’t get that, or we might end up with less. But the big thing to me was having somebody who’s very, very focused and they made me feel all the way that regardless of which way I went versus my wanting to push the trial, even if it was ill advised, they were going to push it to trial, and having that, having the openness, the honest, the frankness, and this was the second time that I myself or family member has been involved in an accident, and we gave the insurance a chance to try to make good on it, and they didn’t do it. I always thought, well, I’ll give them a chance first, and then seek legal counsel second. I’ll never do that again. I’ll always start with legal counsel. Hopefully it will be somebody as y’alls firm.”
